To the Woman at Rockford’s Post Office – You Truly Made My Day

Running my TikTok Shop means I spend a lot of time in and out of the Post Office in downtown Rockford.

I've started making mystery jewelry jars and selling them on my TikTok Shop to make a little extra money in my free time, it's such a fun hobby!  Well, the first few orders I decided to get creative and deck out the mailer boxes with stickers of cats, flowers, and funky mushrooms.

I couldn't help but notice the woman at the counter was smiling seeing all the cute stickers!  It seemed like they brought a little joy to her day every time she saw them.  C'mon, who doesn't love a good sticker?!

Eventually, I started running low on stickers so in the meantime I cut back on the decorating on the boxes.  Guess who noticed?  The woman at the counter!

She asked where all the stickers went... I explained I had to order more so the next orders would be sticker-less, unfortunately.

I loved that she noticed the lack of stickers, and it just made my day knowing something as small as stickers could bring her a little happiness during her shift.

So, this last time I dropped off orders, I not only decorated all the boxes but I surprised her with her very own set of stickers!  Her face lit up, and the smile on her face was so big!  It felt so good to make her day just as she had mine.

To the woman at the post office in downtown Rockford—I'm so happy we could make each other's days a little brighter.  You’re so sweet, and I look forward to seeing you a few times a week!
