ADAM is serving drinks at Walmart Supercenter in Rockford this weekend, we've officially landed in the 'Jetsons' universe.

When I was a kid, I expected to have flying cars by the year 2000. Which was pretty crazy if you think about it. I was born in 1987, how I thought cars would leap into the air by the time I turned 13 is a pretty silly thought, but hey, I blame TV, mostly 'The Jetsons,' for my technology assumptions.

While I hear rumblings of flying cars every once in a while, we're not quite there yet. However, ADAM, a 'two-armed robot that uses state of the art AI technology to interact with customers, provide drink recommendations,' definitely has Rosie vibes.

According to a press release, this weekend, ADAM will be at the Walmart Supercenter on Walton Streer in Rockford serving drinks to customers.

The robot is getting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10am on Friday, August 16 and will be hanging around all weekend and beyond the serve drinks to customers.

There's prizes too! If you're one of the first 50 people to meet ADAM on Friday, you'll score free Wow Bao for a year.

On Saturday and Sunday, the first 50 people to meet ADAM will win free MrBeast Burgers for a year, plus on Saturday there will be face painting from 11am-4pm and free ICEE drinks for kids.
