This is the image of true parenting.

Has there ever been a moment, besides when you're at a Walmart or a county fair, that you wanted to whip out your phone to capture something outrageous on camera that you just had to share with the world? Then there are those rare moments when something truly unique happens, and that's when you didn't have your phone. Doh. I hate when that happens.

Take this picture for example. A father and son walking in the rain; a dad drenched because he'd rather keep his son dry rather than himself..or both of them. The photo has already been viewed 3 million times in the last few days.

People have left several touching comments about the photo, most notably a comment on Imgur, “But you see, dad is doing more than keeping him dry. He’s teaching him how to put others before himself.”

Moms and dads, let this photo serve as a reminder of all the sacrifices you make for your children each day. There may not always be someone with a camera phone to capture your awesomeness but that doesn't mean that you aren't awesome and appreciated.
