On A Mission: Illinois Students Hope For Valentine’s Gifts from All 50 States
For another year in a row, an Illinois school is on a mission to collect a Valentine's Day gift from all 50 states. Will you help them reach their goal?
Let's bring some joy to a few Kindergarten classrooms at Johnson Elementary in Rockford, Illinois this year. They're looking for gifts from all 50 states, including countries outside the US!
Learning comes in all forms. These little Kindergarteners get to learn about their country, the power of social media, and the kindness of their community by simply participating in "Hearts Around the World".

One of the teachers at Johnson Elementary, Kaitlyn Graham, shared this on Facebook.
"Our outcome last year was AMAZING and we are so excited to see what this year brings! Friends and family, please work your magic and share this like CRAZY! We can’t wait to see how many valentines we get from all over the world!"
All you have to do is spread the word, send a gift; a Valentine, postcard, or special item from your state to Johnson Elementary School, and the students get to mark on their classroom map where your gift was sent from!
It could be as simple as a postcard, or an actual gift for the kids to enjoy! No matter what you send, they'll be one state closer to completing this project.
If you're interested in helping them fill up their map this year, you can send your gifts to:
'Johnson Kindergarten Classes'
Johnson Elementary School
3805 Rural Street
Rockford, Illinois 61107
Miss Graham, Mrs. Jirak, Mrs. Szymanski, and Miss Sullivan would be so grateful, and of course their little ones! Spread the word, let your friends in different states know how they can join the project, too.
