We’ve Got Road Troubles In Rockford, But Not Like This
When I say "but not like this," I mean sinkholes. Big ones. Big enough to swallow part of a city bus, like what happened this morning in Pittsburgh.
If you've lived in the Rockford area for any length of time (or change of seasons), you're no doubt familiar with our bone-rattling, head-snapping, tire-destroying, and axle-breaking potholes. I'm sure you've gotten to enjoy one or two over the years.
However, as nasty as Rockford potholes can, and will continue to be, the worst you can plan on is the previously mentioned bone-rattling, tire-destroying stuff. No sinkholes here (that we know of).
