When it comes to the city we call home, we have mixed feelings about living here.  We all think about how much we "love" or "hate" this town, right?

I've lived in Rockford my entire life and there are pros and cons!  My family is all here, I know so many people, and it's home.  The only con I can think of is the possibility I won't feel like I'm growing or I'll feel stuck because I've never lived anywhere else.

Maybe the drivers, too.  Too many recklessness around here.

To all the people I know who moved away and never came back, I love that for you!  To those who moved away and returned to Rockford, did you want to, or did you have no choice?  I've seen plenty of older generations say they moved back years ago, and it was the best decision they ever made!  Others are so glad they "got out".

Rockford may not be known for glitz and glamour, but it sure knows how to have a good time. You can always count on a classic dive bar or a festival that’s been running since forever and still calls itself “new.” Keep rocking, Rockford. You’re the small-town legend we never knew we needed."

Well, it did exactly what I thought it would: threw shade.  AI's thoughts are spot on, though.  All of it was pretty accurate haha.  At least it didn't mention crime or property taxes, right?!
