I don't know if the world is ready for this sandwich and to be honest, I don't know if I am either.

According to the Consumerist, on the heels of testing all day McGriddle's in select markets, they are now "cooking up what is essentially a chicken-and-pancake sandwich as part of the all-day breakfast menu."

A chicken and pancake sandwich? I get it, it's probably some kind of chicken and waffles thing but they're replacing the waffles with pancakes.

While most would agree that there is a similar taste between pancakes and waffles, but waffles have a different consistency.

There's also oil in waffles while pancakes are made with water.

I called a local Rockford location to see if there was anyway that you could have a "frankensteined" McChicken Sandwich and McGriddle while replacing the innards to the McGriddle with the chicken but there's no way customers can do it.

That said, if things take off in Ohio we could see the Chicken McGriddle make it's way to Rockford.

Big question is, would you eat it?
