Wisconsin Named One Of America’s Best States To Live
A Tough Pill to Swallow for Wisconsin Haters
This will be a tough one for the diehard Wisconsin dislikers.
Personally, I think Wisconsin is a fine state. Minus the Brewers and Packers, I'd say it's almost perfect.
Turns out WalletHub agrees too, not so much about the sports teams stuff, but more about that it's a pretty great state.

Wisconsin Ranks #3 in WalletHub's Best States to Live In
Wisconsin was just named one of America's best states to live in, coming in 3rd overall.
The popular money and credit card website used five different metrics to come up with their rankings:
- Affordability
- Economy
- Education and health
- Quality of Life
- Safety
Idaho, a state that I have never been to, was named the #1 state to live in America, with New Jersey coming in second.
You gotta admit, when you look at the top 10, it's kind of a big deal for Wisconsin to be ranked that high:
1. Idaho
2. New Jersey
3. Wisconsin
4. Massachusetts
5. New Hampshire
6. Wyoming
7. Utah
8. Minnesota
9. Pennsylvania
10. Florida
New Mexico ranked dead last, followed by Louisiana and Mississippi.

How Illinois Compares in the Border State Rivalry
In case you were wondering, Illinois was ranked 18th overall, and considering Wisconsin ranked so highly, it's so close for us in Rockford, and ranked so much higher than the Land of Lincoln, the news for us locals has got a little sting.
If you live in Rockford and travel over the border to Wisconsin already for restaurants, shopping, entertainment, or cheaper gas, this is another piece of ammo for the never-ending Illinois-Wisconsin argument.
