You Can Now Buy Girl Scout Cookies Online

Your prayers have been answered; you can now have your Thin Mints delivered right to your door.

The process for selling Girl Scout cookies sure has come a long way since I was a Girl Scout.  We used to go door-to-door and give our parents the cookie sheet to put up in the break room at work.  Those days are over.

Here's the real "break the internet" moment: you're going to be able to buy Girl Scout cookies online for the first time ever. The organization is taking a giant leap into the 21st century with a national platform called "Digital Cookie".

Each scout will have their own profile to manage sales and they'll even have an app that will manage direct shipping and process credit card payments for in-person sales. There are, of course, some stipulations.

The organization is expected to launch its online sales on December 12. The traditional cookie selling season begins in January.
