I’m Not Going To See This Movie: ‘The Equalizer,’ ‘The Boxtrolls’

Despite poor reviews, "The Maze Runner" was last week's big winner. What about this week? Are the new movies any good?

From the looks of things, kinda? The two new ones this week star Denzel Washington in "The Equalizer" and an animated flick called "The Box Trolls."

"THE EQUALIZER"

Rated R, 131 minutes

What I think it's about: Denzel Washington plays a guy who has some kind of expertise in killing bad guys. It's Rated R so chances of it being violent are pretty good.

"THE BOXTROLLS"

Rated PG, 97 minutes

What I think it's about: A kid somehow is a box troll. A girl tries to make him realize he isn't a troll, but an actual kid. Noises and occasional grins ensue.
