Are These The Top 10 Best Wing Joints In The Rockford Area?

Wings.  Extra spicy.  Lots of ranch.  A ton of napkins.  These are all I need when it comes to getting my fingers messy in delicious chicken wings.

I'm not ashamed to say it: I crave wings literally every day.  Since my manager, Brian, mentioned wings a few days ago, all I could think about now is where I'm getting my next fill.

We brought it to Facebook to see where we could find the best chicken wings in the Rockford area and wow... you did not disappoint!  Over 100 comments later, I found the most popular places in town that could potentially have the best wings ever.

One of the places MOST MENTIONED isn't even open yet!!!  Dang, that must mean they're THAT GOOD, huh?

#1: BAKED WINGS - Opening September 2022

#2: ERNIE'S MIDTOWN PUB, Rockford

According to Facebook, Wednesday's are the best for wings at Ernie's.  Yum, for just $8.15 you can get 6 boneless OR bone-in wings.  Not a bed deal!

#3: GET AN AIR FRYER

I hear you, Kirk.  I wish we all had air fryers or I wouldn't be asking the question!  If someone wants to gift one to me I wouldn't complain....

Unfortunately, they're closed right now but they should be opening back up near the end of September from what I'm hearing around town!

Many people commented different locations that you should go to; Charles Street, Kishwaukee, and West State Street locations.

Thanks to my coworker, Priscilla, for recommending this place!  Not only do their wings look good, their cheesy bacon fries and parmesan bites look FIRE.

#9: ONYX BAR & GRILL, Machesney Park

I've been here a few times, it's really nice inside & their outdoor patio is great, too.  Looks like they have some great entertainment happening weekly!

And the most notable suggestion comes from Facebook user Mark P.  I don't know what happened in the past, but he doesn't seem too interested in chicken wings like the rest of us!
