25 Days of Desserts: Chocolate Covered Everything

Merry Christmas! We made it to the 25th day of desserts, if you've been slacking and your dessert table looks a little bare this morning, that's ok, just cover everything in chocolate. 

Covering stuff in chocolate is magical. You can cover almost anything in chocolate and for some reason people will be impressed, even though it's relatively easy.

The trick is to add some shortening to your chocolate before you melt it. I take a slice of Crisco stick and put it in my bowl of chocolate before I melt it.

I use the microwave when I melt chocolate, but you have to be careful to stir it every 30 seconds or so and then just dip stuff. It is that easy!
