If you live in the Rockford area, you already know winer can feel long.  Once the first snowfall wears off, we all hit that point where we're staring out the window wondering how many more months we have to survive before patio seasons returns.  That's why I follow a lot of local Rockford Facebook pages that keep me in the loop on all things Rockford!

One of my favorite pages is GoRockford.  They are always sharing what's happening around the Stateline and finding ways to make every season feel exciting.  Even when it's freezing outside, no matter what, they manage to remind us that Rockford actually has a lot going on.

I was scrolling TikTok and came across one of their videos that highlighted the 10 indoor activities to enjoy during winter.  Honestly?  Loved the list.  It was one of those, "oh yeah... we're so lucky to have all this here!" moments.  So, I figured if it caught my attention, other locals would probably love the list, too.

• Indoor Gardens at Nicholas Conservatory
• Axe throwing at Big Timber
• Bowling at any of our beautiful bowling alleys
• Catching an IceHogs game at the BMO
• Seeing a show at the Hard Rock Live, Coronado, or Music Box
