Churchill's Grove Garage Sale With Over 55 Homes

Every year on the first Saturday in May, one neighborhood in Rockford has a massive garage sale event with all the neighbors!

This is literally the biggest garage sale weekend of the year. First, the Edgewater neighborhood has a 29-home garage sale you gotta check out, and right across the street in Churchill's Grove, they're also having a 55-home garage sale. They've kept this tradition going since 1985.

Almost a hundred sales that are all walking distance from each other? Say less. I'm already withdrawing all of my money to blow.

55 Garage Sales In Rockford's Churchill's Grove This Weekend

On Saturday, May 3rd, starting at 9AM, Churchill's Grove will be flooded with tons of treasures to hunt for during their annual Grove Garage Sale!

Residents will open their driveways for the community from 9AM-3PM, rain or shine. If you're looking for vintage finds, home goods, furniture, tools, outdoor gear, books, or love weird finds, this is one of two garage sale events to be at this weekend.

You're bound to find at least one thing to bring home—or a trunk full or goodies (I'll probably be that person).

This is more than just a sale, it's a flea market and neighborhood block party, too! There will be concession stands, resting areas (on Sherman Street between Camp Avenue and Harlem Boulevard), and porta potties for attendees! Yep, they've got you covered for a long day of wheelin' and dealin'.
