6 Things That Just Aren’t Worth Buying At An Illinois Aldi

Before you come at me, I will say I absolutely love Aldi.  I still shop there and love the Aldi Finds aisle just like everyone else.  Though, I've found there are just some things you shouldn't buy for good reasons!

Unlike many grocery stores, Aldi doesn't seem to offer coupons.  I've never once found a coupon I could use to get a few dollars off at Aldi, but their pretty affordable prices do make up for that!  Sometimes what you're looking for isn't really worth the price, though.  Depending on quantity and quality of certain products, I do tend to take my shopping needs elsewhere to get more bang for my buck.

6 Things That Just Aren't Worth Buying At An Illinois Aldi

#1: Paper towel products - You can get a bulk pack at other stores for nearly the same price with coupons added at checkout.

#2: Produce/Fruit - I've definitely had problems at Aldi keeping my food from rotting so quickly.  I've seen others online talk about this, too. This might be why their produce is really affordable?

#3: Brand name goods - We all know we go to Aldi to get the generic brand name everything to save a pretty penny.

The cereals are my favorite because the names are always hilarious (lol).

#4: Cat litter - I have 2 cats and they are so picky when it comes to their toilet.

From what I've seen from reviews, many cat parents aren't too fond of the Aldi litter.  It's not clumpy enough and it's too dusty.

#5: Cleaning supplies - It's not that these cleaning supplies don't do their job, but if you're looking to deep clean with the best products I'd say look elsewhere.

#6: Personal hygiene products -  Aldi does have a selection of hygiene products you can choose from, but they don't necessarily have a wide variety.  That's why I say find your favorites at other stores!

Next time you're at Aldi, just think of these things before buying them!  These tips have definitely helped me in the long run and save a little bit of money, too.
