
Alert: Taquitos Sold in Illinois and 30 Other States Have Just Been Recalled
According to a company announcement, Aldi just announced a voluntary recall of taquitos sold in over 30 states, including Illinois.
Reason for the Recall
Aldi said it recalled boxes of Casa Mamita Chicken & Cheese Taquitos from Bestway Sandwiches due to "potential foreign material" and metal.
Aldi claims the move was done "out of an abundance of caution."

Customer Guidance
In their published recall notice, Aldi says they put the "safety and integrity of the products it sells first." and "if customers have products affected by this recall," they are advised to toss them out or return them to the store immediately to get a full refund.
Details of the Recalled Products
The boxes recalled are of the 20-ounce variety with a UPC of 4061459337471 with a best-by date of July 3, 2025, or September 25, 2025.
