I get to say things like that because I'm from Wisconsin. I'm also an ice cream lover and I can tell you, you don't stay in the dairy business for over one hundred years unless what you produce is top-notch.

Mullen's Dairy Bar in Watertown

The Mullen's story goes back pretty far, all the way back to 1843 to be exact, according to onlyinyourstate.com.

"In 1843, Irish immigrant Mary Mullen purchased 140 acres near Watertown at $1.50 per acre. Since then, her family has operated a successful dairy business that provided high-quality milk, butter, and cream to the area."

In the 1930s, the people of Watertown, Wisconsin were now tasting some very different Mullen-family creations, ICE CREAM.

The family opened a small ice cream shop on Watertown’s Main Street and the family's dairy greatness is still being served today.

There is even a second Mullen's Dairy Bar location in Oconomowoc. You'll also find Mullen's ice cream in stores across the state.

They're served in big and wide cups and you can order the mals and shakes light, medium or thick.

A creamy orange zest flavor with chocolate chips. These two flavors together sound amazing.

I don't know what they call this next one at Mullen's, but there's caramel on top, so likely fantastic.

Mullen's does also serve up sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, and some pretty big burgers.

Don't forget to save room for dessert though.
