Wrigley Field is a beautiful place but it's not always "the friendly confines" as one fan found out rather quickly Sunday.

If you were watching the game you may have seen the commotion of a fan running on the field.

WGN shares that "[Joseph] Confer ran onto Wrigley Field around 4:20 p.m. in the middle of the game."

Confer found out his short sprint on the field has now cost him "a fine of at least $1,000, plus at least 30 hours of community service."

Plus, he's been charged "charged with one felony count of criminal trespass to a place of public amusement."

I just shake my head at it.

I'm guessing this guy had some liquid courage to want to do this.

I hope that his little stunt was worth it. ??

Who has that kind of money to literally run away on? Not me.

It just goes to show that Wrigley, although friendly, doesn't appreciate guests abusing their friendship.
