We've all been there. Getting into a fight over a misconstrued text message. Today, I thought I would help cool the coals, by going over the top misinterpreted text words.

  • ok-in lower case is a big one. To me it means-"okay, I'm cool with that." To others it may be dismissive. Like saying "OKAY FINE, it's always all about YOU!"
  • Hold on- It's exactly that. Hold on a minute, I need to do something, I'll be back.  Others however, may think that you're not respecting their time. I mean really, if you get mad over me saying "hold on," you need to search for your missing personality.
  • I don't care-Obviously meaning that you don't have strong feelings for or against what they're saying. But it may come across that you don't care anymore. Really?
Honestly, there are just some people you can't text. Some friends are better just to chat with, but then again, who actually talks on the phone anymore?!
