Adorable 6-Year-Old Illinois Podcaster Appears on ‘Ellen’ to Talk Science
If it's one thing I miss about having cable television it's watching The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Thank goodness for the internet because if you don't have cable like me, this is what we both missed on her show yesterday.
That's 6-year-old Nate Butkus from Willmette, Illinois; who is well on his way to becoming the next Bill Nye the Science Guy.
According to NBC Chicago, and as you heard in the video, Nate fell in love with science at the age of 3 and already has a successful and somewhat profitable podcast where he interviews scientists and professors about topics that not even I understand at 37- things like physics, evolution and climate change. That's some pretty heavy hitting stuff for a first grader.
Regardless of whether or not you know the subject matter, when it comes to booking guests, he did say "here's a shout out, I always approve." Which leaves me with one question, do I try to get him for The Steve Shannon Show or do I try to get on The Show about Science?
