WARNING: Beware of AirTag Crime Targeting Vehicles In Illinois
If there's crime happening that's targeting women in Illinois, you bet I'm letting everyone know about it. This one is pretty disturbing, in my opinion.

The woman was leaving Arby's and when she returned to her vehicle, a man was under her car putting an AirTag on it to track her location or steal the vehicle later. Extremely terrifying. Thankfully, she called the cops.
If you don't know what an AirTag is here's the best way to explain it.
"AirTag is a supereasy way to keep track of your stuff. Attach one to your keys. Put another in your backpack." [Apple]
You can put an AirTag on literally anything and track down where that item is if you lost it... or in this case, if you're trying to track someone's location.
One, people suck for doing this sketchy stuff.
Two, it sucks being a woman sometimes.
I always have someone walk me to my car if I'm anywhere late at night or try to keep my car around other vehicles as much as possible. You can never be too careful nowadays.

I don't know if the person was taken in by police, but I'm sure there are others out there doing the same thing; targeting people and their vehicles.
If you see any suspicious activity like this when you're out, call authorities immediately!
