Whenever people see me and my boyfriend Jason together, they always comment on how cute we are together; it's generally followed up with a, "it must've been love at first sight, right?"

Um, no. I was not a fan of Jason's when we first met. My first impression of him was that he was this chest-pounding meat head that was a little full of himself; especially after he insisted, without even knowing me, that I become friends with him on Facebook. Um, excuse me? What did you just say? I couldn't hear you over the sound of your knuckles dragging on the floor.

As you can see, after some time, I got over that and well, as they say, the rest is history. Perhaps we'll follow in Anthony Rizzo and fiance, Emily Vakoss' footsteps and get engaged? HAHA.

But it turns out, it wasn't exactly love at first sight for Vakos either. According to NBC Chicago, she wasn't even interested in Rizzo when they first met; she even gave him a fake phone number when he first showed interest.

Rizzo says he was relentless in pursuing her and after her internship with the Cubs' nutrition team was over, they finally took the next step. Before you know it, he's proposing to Vakos on a boat in the middle of Lake Michigan. It went down exactly the way he had hoped for.

Now, the couple just tries to live as normal of a life as possible. Vakos says it can be difficult at times; they can't even go to the grocery store without it turning into a photo shoot.
