The Cubs Are Honoring The 2016 World Series Team In A Big Way
If you're a Chicago Cubs fan, you'll never forget your team winning the World Series.
It's actually hard to fathom that it'll be 10 years this November since the team broke a 108-year drought.

Cubs to Honor World Series History with Champions Gate
That's why it makes sense to celebrate the achievement during the Cubs' anniversary year of winning the big one, by unveiling a brand-new gate called Champions Gate.
Fans are invited to come out to see the new addition at 9 a.m. on July 18.
Located at the west entrance to Gallagher Way, the 31-foot-wide and 22-foot-tall gate will honor all three of the Cubs' championships and is designed to accommodate additional titles.
Wrigley Field's New Landmark
Owner Tom Ricketts, former manager Joe Maddon, and recently retired Cub great Anthony Rizzo will speak during the ceremony, and Kyle Hendricks will throw out the first pitch of the 1:20 game that same day against the Minnesota Twins.
While you're there, you can also check out the final out baseballs from the 1908 and 2016 World Series, as well as buy game-used memorabilia from their most recent championship run.

The 2016 Champions Return to Chicago
That's not all, though. Anthony Rizzo and David Ross will also host a "Lovable Reunion" at the Chicago Theatre with guests that include:
- Jake Arrieta
- Kyle Hendricks
- Dexter Fowler
- Miguel Montero
- Joe Maddon
For die-hards, this isn't just an anniversary; it's a chance to relive one of the greatest moments in franchise history and to see many of the heroes from that championship team together again.
