Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant are Signing Autographs this Saturday, But it Will Cost You
One of the things I loved doing the most, when my son was younger, was taking him to Twinsfest- an entire weekend dedicated to celebrating his favorite baseball team, the Minnesota Twins.
We'd walk around for hours, playing yard games, eating fair food, and standing in line for hours for an autograph from past and present players. Secretly, I hated the waiting, but it was worth it to see my son's face light up when he got to meet players like Tori Hunter and Joe Mauer. It really was a priceless experience.
Had those autographs come with an expensive price tag, though, I'm not sure I'd stand in line for two or more hours. Would you? I guess it depends on how big of a fan you are.
If you or someone you know is a huge fan of Anthony Rizzo and/or Kris Bryant, your opportunity to stand in line for hours to get an autograph is coming this Saturday.
According to WGN, Bryzzo will be at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in downtown Chicago for an autograph session starting at 6:30 pm. If you want to go, you'll want to get there early and bring your checkbook because the autograph comes with an expensive price tag.
For $699 you can bring two items to be autographed; one can be signed by both players or each player can sign one item.
