How do you like your coffee? Deep fried, please.

It appears that there's a little competition brewing at the San Diego County Fair, pun intended, between food vendors to come up with the craziest and most innovative deep fried food.

Last week, I told you about the deep fried SLIM-FAST bars, but it turns out that's not the only piece of deep fried heaven going on there.

Another stand, Bacon A-Fair, just introduced us to deep fried Starbucks coffee. They kind of look like donut holes, but they're not.

Mike Peterson, from Bacon A-fair, takes takes dough and Starbucks coffee grounds and rolls them together into balls, then deep fries them, and serves them in a Starbucks cup with whipped cream - giving you the complete coffee, cream and sugar experience.

Peterson came up with the idea after making too many trips to the bathroom after drinking too much coffee in liquid form; he says you'll get a really good buzz going.
