Beer On Wheels Comes To Soldier Field
The Bears, the beer and bicycles. Home games at Soldier Field will now have a fantastic new way to fetch a beer.
"Beer here!!!", - every beer man at any sports game ever.
But what’s the phrase when that beer comes via a bicycle? The Chicago Bears are upping their food and drink game with new additions such as boozy bicycles from sports concessionaire Aramark and Montreal-style smoked meats from Jared Leonard.
Everyone knows the best part of a sports game is the overly-priced beer. However, the worst part is waiting in line for that beer. Soldier Field’s goal with these new beer bikes is to cut down on line-waiting time. These pedal-powered carts are called Tour de Taps, and
not only do these bikes make for a shorter wait time, but also create a great photo opportunity. The bikes also have actual beer taps, but you’ve been warned, they are not self-serve (cough cough) drunk football fans.
Bears open their season on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers and play their first regular season game at Soldier Field on September 17. You should also see how they've improved the food menu.
