Congratulations to the Rockford Police Department for making a huge drug bust arrest.

Crime doesn't take any days off and neither doesn't our local law enforcement officials.

According to mystateline.com,

"A Rockford man was arrested in what officials are calling a "major drug seizure" following a months-long investigation."

Martin Martinez of Rockford was arrested on Wednesday.

With a search warrant, Rockford Police found in his house two pounds of heroin, three pounds of crystal meth, two guns, and $10,000 in cash. In his car, they discovered seventy-four pounds of marijuana and two and a half pounds of heroin. The street value of the bust was $650,000.

Keep up the great work.
