Weekend breakfast hits different, especially when you pair it with a little drinky drink. If I'm going out for brunch, there's about a 99% chance I'm ordering some kind of fun cocktail with my meal. The past weekend, I treated myself to a loaded mimosa alongside a giant breakfast skillet at Ned's Diner, and my boyfriend got a Bloody Mary that was out of this world.

If you've never been to Ned's Diner, you're crazy.  After the first time I tried them, I was hooked. Menu is huge, food is so fresh, flavorful, and the drink options are so good!

While I was happily sipping my mimosa, my boyfriend ordered a Bloody Mary.. and I could not stop staring at it.

I'm usually not a Bloody Mary kind of person, but this weekend I was. It looked more like an entire appetizer than a drink with all the snacks balance on top of the glass!

It came with crispy bacon, olives, a giant pickle, chunks of cheese, and all the best fixings you could ask for.  Naturally, I had to steal a sip... or two.

I will admit, I get the hype.

The drink itself was perfectly balanced without being so overwhelming, and all the toppings made the whole experience even better.  Between the salty bacon, the cheese, the pickle, and olives, it felt like you were getting a snack and a cocktail all in one.

To be completely honest, it might've been the best Bloody Mary I've ever had.

Will I completely abandon my beloved mimosas? No.  They're still my go-to drink for breakfast, but now I can officially say there's a seat for a Bloody Mary at my table (as long as there are toppings!).
