Bruno Mars unveiled the video for his latest 24K Magic single, "That's What I Like," on Wednesday evening (March 1), and it puts Bruno and the straightforward clip puts his seemingly effortless dance moves front and center.

In a series of tweets with fans on Wednesday, the "Uptown Funk" singer seemed to indicate he shot the video that very same day — which seems wildly unlikely, but then again, the visual is Bruno solo on a darkened set with simple line animation illustrating the song's lavish promises (lobster tails at dinner, shopping sprees in Paris, etc.).

Mars performed "That's What I Like" at both the 2017 Grammys and the Brit Awards. Given the old-school R&B breakdowns he and his backup singers delivered at those events, one might've expected the video to recreate the energy of that live performance — instead, Bruno kept it simple.

Watch Bruno Mars' "That's What I Like" video, co-directed by Mars and Jonathan Lia, below. Mars is set to receive the Innovator award at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards this Sunday, March 5, where he will also perform.
