Build An Epic Snowman And Win A Rockford Gift Basket

Do you wanna build a snowman? No, this isn't a Frozen reference. I'm actually asking if you want to build a snowman in exchange for a chance to win a Rockford gift basket!

The Rockford Park District is searching for this year's best snowman.  If you don't think you're creative enough to win this contest, you're totally wrong. RPD is providing FREE Rocky the Snowman kits so you don't have to spend a dime contemplating what to buy!

With only 2,000 snowman kits made, it's a first come first serve basis. You can find kits at Carlson Ice Arena, MercyHealth Sportscore Two, Snowpark at Alpine Hills, and UW Health Sports Factory while supplies last.

The free Snowman kit includes your buttons for the eyes, black solo cup for the nose, one blue scarf, blue Kool-Aid and a spray bottle.  Rocky is a polar bear mascot at Carlson Ice Arena!

What are you winning, though? An epic Rockford Park District gift basket and you'll be crowned the Grand Prize Winner for the most creative "Rocky the Snowman".

Make sure to get your snowman built, take a pic with Rocky, and submit your photo to webmaster@rockfordparkdistrict.org to enter for a chance to score that gift basket! Deadline is Sunday, February 27th.

Now, I haven't built a snowman in like 10 years, but this seems like a fairly easy contest to enter.. and win.  What's even better is 5 other participants will each win a 4-pack of tickets to Snow Park at Alpine Hills. So get outside and start building Rocky, you have nothing to lose!
