A mom in Byron in on edge after a frightening situation took place in Rockford Tuesday afternoon.

The woman, a mom of 6, says she was at LKQ in Rockford at 1pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2021, when she was approached and cornered by a man and a woman.

They backed up into me and cornered me and took my stuff.

They stole her phone, identification, bank card, and a credit card and went on a shopping spree in Rockford.

How much money did they spend?

The woman, who asked to remain anonymous, said eight transactions occurred at six stores, totally over $1000. She notified the police and she was actually able to track her phone and told the police where it appeared to be until the suspects turned it off.

They have my address! Please if anyone sees them call the police.

Rightfully so, the woman is terrified about her family being in physical danger as the man and woman know her address and other personal information.

I feel so violated.

In fact, the night of the robbery, she had her kids spend the night elsewhere in the event of someone attempting to break into her home.

The two individuals who the woman said robbed her were caught on security cameras inside the business.
