Williams was just announced as the cover star for the brand new video game football iteration of Madden, being the first Bears player to get the honor in the franchise’s over 30-year run.

Then, just when I thought things were too good, I saw Williams on the New Heights podcast with the Kelce boys, and he talked about his favorite pizza.

I fully expected it not to be a pizza in Illinois. Since Williams wasn’t born and raised here, I figured he’d have another place in mind, which I suppose would be fine, I guess. Turns out, my concerns were overblown, as the Iceman announced during the interview that Zarella Pizzeria & Taverna is the “best pizza I’ve ever had in my life,” adding, “it’s insane.”

If that’s not a ringing endorsement of the pizza at Zarella, then I don’t know what is.
