Capri Restaurant’s Loves Park Opening Announcement Missing 1 Thing

It's such great news to now know when we'll get our next chance to eat great Italian food at Capri Restaurant's new location in Loves Park. There's another part to Capri's story that I hope also returns.

Are the words below, the the same kind of reaction you had to the news of Capri Restaurant's grand opening in its new Loves Park location?

"OH. MY. GOSH. Capri is BACK, and I am absolutely losing it! After what feels like an eternity without that life-changing pizza, we finally have an opening date, and I seriously can’t contain my excitement! Capri is officially re-opening in Loves Park on Saturday, September 28th, with carry-out starting at 4:00 pm.

You better believe I’m setting my alarm, clearing my schedule, and planning my entire day around this glorious event. I mean, who else is ready for that perfect, fresh-made pizza, pasta, and those epic salads we’ve been craving for way too long?

Oh, and did I mention there will be delivery and a patio to chill on while devouring slices of perfection? Capri has thought of EVERYTHING. Plus, their new website is launching soon with a loyalty program to make sure we stay hooked forever.

My 'friend' said that's exactly how his inner-self reacted to the Facebook post below from Capri's owners.

"It’s been a long time coming…but we are excited to announce our opening date! While we are so grateful for all the years we had at our original State Street location we are beyond excited to be opening our new location in Loves Park!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28th as our Carry Out will be open for business at 4:00 pm that day!

That’s right! You can order your favorite pizza, pastas, salads and more from our classic menu, with the best ingredients made fresh for you, in our new location!

We will have carry out & delivery service available as well as a patio space to enjoy.

In the coming days we will be launching our new website where you will be able to view the menu, sign up for our new loyalty program & stay up to date on all things Capri!

This is all such fantastic news. You know what else is fantastic? It's the one thing that was missing from the big announcement.

Capri's frozen pizzas are back too! Those pizzas are so good and so were frequently in my freezer. I have truly missed that the most during Capri's two-year absence. The owners shared with me that, for now, the frozen pizzas will be available for purchase at the restaurant.
