Chicago Paying $4 Million In Death of Motorcyclist Who Hit a Pothole
With the pothole situation in the city of Rockford, you'd think this would be a story from the Forest City.
The city of Chicago will be paying out four million dollars in death benefits to the family of 31-year-old Carlo Kintanar, according to wgntv.com. What happened to Carlo was awful and could very easily happen in ANY city with big pothole issues. In November of 2010, Carlo was riding and hit a pothole. The impact threw him from his motorcycle and then he was hit by another vehicle.
I think about how this could easily happen in the Rockford area, given how many potholes you see around town.
