A guy recording a fireworks display last night on the Chicago Riverwalk managed to catch sparks and explosions of a different kind.

The guy who posted the video on Facebook, Brian Pepoon, said "Someone got engaged in front of me tonight. That was fun."

While fireworks were going off in the background, and music blasting, the courageous man asked the woman to marry him. You don't hear an actual "yes" but you can hear an audible "Oh my God!"

While I'm sure the couple in the video didn't intend to have their engagement become public news, I'm certain they won't mind it happening either.

It makes for a great engagement story. Never mind the fireworks display and then the ring. How about a fireworks display, a ring, and a guy inadvertently recording the proposal, turning the search for the couple a nationwide thing? Sounds way better.

All we need to know now is who is this newly engaged couple? If you know, tell us!
