Are Illinois Chuck E. Cheese Locations Changing Name Following Super Bowl?
The ultimate kids' entertainment destination for birthday parties, arcade games, and pizza is about to undergo a major name change as part of a Super Bowl bet.
Apparently, select Chuck E. Cheese locations have decided to temporarily change their name following the Super Bowl win. What's up with that?!
Locations in Philadelphia and Kansas City have started a hilarious wager:
- If the Eagles win, Kansas City locations will change to “Chuck ‘Eagles’ Cheese"
- If the Chiefs win, Philadelphia locations will become “Chuck E. Chiefs"
The North district manager, Donna Brown, shared this to the media after news dropped.
“We have always encouraged friendly rivalries between Districts, from who can sell the most fun passes or birthdays, to who can rack up the highest score on any of our games,” said Chuck E. Cheese Northeast district manager Donna Brown. “For the Big Game, we will be rallying around our Philadelphia Team for sure!”
But, the Midwest district manager, Eric Montes, said they're all about family fun and games, and friendly competition is a great way to celebrate the Super Bowl in the workplace. He's clearly rooting for the Kansas City Chiefs!

As for other locations around the country, there's no word if they'll be hopping on the bandwagon and changing their names. For Illinois, we haven't seen any location say they'd do the temporary name change.
Either way, a pizza from Chuck E. Cheese might be one of the best ways to kick off your Super Bowl watch parties. Don't think their pizzas are only for kids, it's kinda top tier... don't hate it 'til you try it!
