‘City Market at the Orchard’ Returning to Curran’s in Rockford

Curran's Orchard in Rockford just announced their summer hours for 2021 and they're bringing back all our summer and fall favorites. Slushie and donut time.

While we were busy doing other life things, like me, did you forget that you can get fresh-from-the-orchard cider slushies and apple donuts in the summer?

Curran's Orchard is open for the summer

Well, almost.

Opening day for the 2021 spring and summer season is Friday, May 21.

Time for some award-wining cider and a bag of donuts. This year, besides the apple and cherry donuts, Curran's will be serving up lemon donuts. Maybe this isn't new to you, but it's the first I've ever heard of lemon donuts at Curran's Orchard.

Get ready of the return of 'City Market at Orchard'

Curran's Orchard is located at 6385 Kilburn Ave. in Rockford, Illinois

'City Market at the Orchard' opens Friday, May 21 and will be open every Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Curran's will be open on Saturdays, too. Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.. These hours run until July 31.

Inside the market, besides those donuts mentioned above, Curran's will have apple and cherry pies, cider slushies, raw honey, jams, jellies, salsas, dressings, some unique craft items, and frozen 1/2 gallons of cider.

Give me this, right here... can you even think of a better snack in that perfect sunshine and country fresh air?
