C’mon Barbie, Let’s Go to the Barbie Cafe in Chicago

Barbie is EVERYWHERE including in the West Loop in Chicago at the Barbie Cafe. 

It's fair to say a Barbie Cafe would be successful any day, any time of the year. But the week the Barbie movie hits theaters?

That's the best week to go to the Barbie Cafe!

So we did.

We being my all girl team at Good Day Stateline, all dressed in pink of course.

That was the first step: wear pink.

Because, honestly if you're pink-less, you'll stand out like a sore thumb. The cafe was ROCKING pinks of all varieties.

When you book your spot at the cafe, you order a ticket that includes a main menu item and a side dish.

I had the California Dreamin' Club Sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had.

The Think Pink Margarita was adorable, but wasn't as good as I hoped, I should've ordered one of the ice cream floats, which came in a Barbie cars.

When you're done with your lunch or dinner, you can roller skate in the middle of the floor (make sure you bring your socks though! Or else you can buy them for $5), or you can take a million photos pretending you and your friends are Barbie.

Which is exactly how the employees will treat you, like you are a real life Barbie. Which was pretty awesome, actually.

No one's ever called me Barbie before.

The Barbie Cafe is at 324 South Racine Ave in Chicago from now until October 15, unless they extend it again, which could happen... but a lot of the cafe is outside, so we'll see.
