Illinois is Trying the Hardest to Dress Like Barbie this Summer

C'mon Barbie, let's go party. We're trying! But we don't know what to wear. This is kind of embarrassing, Illinois, just grab some pink.

We are just two weeks away from the Barbie movie hitting theaters here in the U.S. and everything has turned hot pink.

I'm here for this. I've spent years looking for good hot pink clothes and nail polish colors and it took the entire world freaking out about a movie for me to finally be able to dress in the brightest pinks possible.

In fact, I'm worried if the movie is a flop the hot pink options might go away... so see the movie ok?

I'm kidding, obviously, do what you want in your free time. But it looks like those of us in Illinois are spending a lot of our free time researching how we can look a little more like Barbie.

According to Journalists Research Department, Illinois takes the cake when it comes to Googling Barbie related looks. We came in first in front of Georgia, Louisiana, Alabama and Maryland.

Weird list right?

The top items we're looking for are: Pink Cowboy hats, handbags, heels and sandals.
