Congrats to Illinois, You’re Gross, You Stink, and You Make Other States Gag.

Being "tops" on certain lists are important to states and their communities. When it comes to jobs, great places to raise families and the overall beauty...being high on a list is a good thing! Now here's one that doesn't smell to great, and sorta leaves that puke taste in your mouth...Zippa 

Illinois, you are gross. How gross? State #23 on the "Grossest States" list. I mean, it's not like we are top ten or top five...We are number 23. It could be worse, we could be Virginia or either of the Carolinas...They make up the TOP 3 Grossest States.

So what exactly makes our state and others so gross? There are three main factors that Zippa looks at.

Is your air fresh and clean? Does your major cities kick out major pollution and does your small towns smell of sweaty gym socks? Or maybe those sensory killers are flipped.

Garbage, trash, disgusting landfills throughout your state. Hey, be kind and rewind...give a hoot and don't pollute.

Down with the sickness, and spreading it around. Does your state spread flu germs around? Does your mayor not cover his/her mouth when sneezing? I kid...but seriously, cover your mouth.

So with these three factors, the "Grossest States" list was put into action.

So Illinois is is the top half for the entire country. What do you think of that? Have you been to nearby states like Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, and thought they were dirtier? That's always possible.
