Cubs Rally Selfie Takes Over the Internet

We are all Cub-ing it up this week and the photos from the World Series rally and parade are the icing on the cake.

I was working on the air today, but there's a TV in here and I had to turn the volume on when the Cubs players spoke during the Rally.

This may be only the second time I turned the volume on... on purpose... on the studio TV, the other being the last time the Blackhawks won the Stanley Cup.

I could lie to you and say I didn't get teary eyed when Anthony Rizzo was crying, but that's not true. Those boys sure love their "Grandpa Rossy."

Once "Grandpa" took the stage, he did more than just speak, he took a selfie that will forever be known as the World Series selfie.

Is the best picture ever? Nope. But it's the only selfie Cubs fans needed after a week filled with anxiety and celebration.
