Daylight Saving Time Coming To Rockford Sooner Than You Think
Ready your clocks, and prepare to be confused because we're getting ready to "Spring Forward" in Rockford.
This year, "Daylight Saving Time" kicks off very early. So early, it's the earliest its ever been.
In 2009, and 2015 Illinois observed "Daylight Saving Time" on March 8 and in 2020, we'll do it again, and maybe for the last time too.
There's a bill floating through the House of Representatives right now in Springfield that may get rid of "Daylight Saving Time" altogether in Illinois.
Good news for every person who needs to consult a car manual in order to change their vehicle's radio clock twice a year.
Until then, we'll just need to figure it out and stumble around for a day or so asking the correct time.
