Disney Plus is really making a push to try and overtake Netflix as the king of streaming services. Their latest announcement should help them get started. The promotion, which starts November 12th, will give Disney Plus to all Verizon customers who have an unlimited data plan or to those who sign up for home internet for one year, for free!

Disney Plus will include films and shows from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, The Simpsons, and more! The good news for those who don't have Verizon, is that DIsney Plus is only starting at $6.99 a month, which is about half the price of Netflix's most popular plan.

According to WTVO, other streaming services also offer promotional trials, so if you don't have Verizon, you may still get some free stuff! Apple is offering a year free trial of their streaming services to anyone who buys an Apple iPhone, iPad, or Mac computer. AT&T offers HBO free to customers who have an unlimited plan. Netflix has also teamed up with T-Mobile to offer free service to its streaming service.

As more and more companies prepare to enter the streaming game, expect to see more offers for free trials. Also a lot of these companies that are starting, are starting off with substantially lower price tags. Hopefully Netflix will follow suit as well and bring back their less expensive plans.

How many different streaming services do you subscribe to? Let me know in the comments so I know who to hit up when my parents kick me off Netflix.
