I made what could've been a very expensive mistake when seeing Suicide Squad at AMC 14 in Machesney Park. Let this be your warning.

For the second weekend in a row, this movie has topped the box office. I enjoyed the movie very much. I'm not a comic book reader so where the director took these characters was no big deal for me. I wanted to enjoy myself while watching and I did just that. I also didn't think I would crush so hard on Harley Quinn like I did. Very happy to read that she wants to play that character forever.

Before I give you a warning to not make the same mistake I did, let me give you some Suicide Squad advice. DO NOT rush out of the theater when the credits start rolling. There is something pretty good you will miss. Being the last one out of the theater is also the reason my mistake wasn't as expensive as it could've been.

I wear prescription glasses and this was a 3D movie. I removed my glasses and had them in the collar of my t-shirt. We got up during the credits and stood to watch the credits just to see if there would be any surprises and I was holding my prescription glasses in my hand. We walk out, past the 3D glasses recycle bin and just before we get outside, my friend says, "hey, where are your real glasses?" I was still wearing the 3D glasses. The glasses I tossed into the recycle bin were my prescription glasses. And since my prescription glasses are darn near identical to the 3D glasses, the search was going to be a blast.

Remember when I said that we were the last one's out of the theater. That move meant my glasses were right on top. Talk about feeling like a dumb ass.
