Don’t Miss a Home Game with the Rockford IceHogs This Season

Football is the sport on most people's minds lately, but hockey season is quickly approaching. The IceHogs first home game is October 22. Check out the list of big giveaways they have planned.

As Rockfordians, we are lucky enough to have our very own hockey team. A hockey team that's a part of the Chicago Blackhawks organization.

The season runs October 14 - April 15. The first home game of the season is October 22. Tickets are already on sale. You can buy them online or call the box office at 815-968-5222. This would be great for a date night, night out with friends, or a night of fun for the whole family. There are 38 home games to choose from. For many of these games you can bring your own skates and skate on the ice following the game. Also, a lot of games have very cool giveaways.

October 23 - Ice Hogs clear tote bag. Plus there will be trick or treating for the kids after this game.

October 28 - Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump bobbles heads. The first one to run out will be declared the winner.

November 19 - IceHogs scarf.

December 21 - IceHogs bomber hat.

December 30 - Kids 14 and under receive a Ice Hogs youth hockey jersey.

January 13 - Winter Pom Pom hats

January 14 - IceHogs fleece blanket

February 12 - Plush 'Otis' toy (stuffed animal)

March 31 - IceHogs beach towel

These giveaways are limited to the first 1000-2500 fans, depending on the giveaway, so if you do decide to get tickets to one of these games, make sure you get there early.
