Rockford is home to many things and one of our favorites is definitely the Rockford Icehogs.

The Icehogs made it to the playoffs this season but unfortunately lost in Game 4 to the Grand Rapids Griffins.

That might make you think the Icehogs fun is over until October, but don't jump to the off season too quickly. There's still a garage sale!

What's the Icehogs garage sale? Only your best chance to get a great deal on Icehogs and Chicago Blackhawks gear to rep all summer.

This year the garage sale is taking place on Friday, June 28 and Saturday, June 29 at the Rockford Icehogs Team Store at the BMO Center.

The sale runs from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Friday, and on Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.

Not only will you get to grab sweatshirts, tees and jackets at discounted prices, but you'll also be able to participate in the 'Seats for Kids,' program.

This program is so awesome.

According to the Icehogs website, when you buy a game worn jersey, tickets will be donated in your name to bring underserved and underprivileged children to a Icehogs game next season.
