Despite years of public awareness campaigns, better rideshare access, and stricter laws, drunk driving remains one of the deadliest problems on U.S. roads. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, one person dies every 39 minutes in an alcohol-related crash. That adds up to over $296 billion in economic and quality-of-life losses every year.
