Edwards Apple Orchard Releases Statement After Sexual Misconduct Arrest
An Edwards Apple Orchard contracted employee was arrested late Monday afternoon.
Peter Ervin Holland, was arrested and charged with three counts of alleged aggravated criminal sexual assault with a child under five-years-old.
Holland allegedly drove horse-drawn wagons while employed at Edwards.
Edwards Apple Orchard replied to Holland's mugshot on the Rockford Mugshots Facebook page, saying:
As soon as we were made aware of this individuals booking, his position was immediately terminated. He was an outside contract hired to provide wagon rides and will never again be allowed on this property. Due to his connection to the horse drawn wagon rides, we will no longer be able to offer wagon rides this season. Thank you all for your concern.
Rockford Mugshots on Facebook reports that Holland has "posted the $1500 bail."
