Fast-Lane Kiosks in Illinois Grocery Stores Make License Renewals a Breeze
Illinois grocery stores offer a new and easy way to renew driver's licenses and license plates.
We've all been there: Your license plate sticker is about to expire, or your driver's license needs to be renewed, but you just keep putting it off.
Many other things are on your "to-do" list, but standing in line at the DMV is not one of them.
If you had to poll folks on the things they despised doing the most, spending any amount of time at the DMV would be way up at the top.
I agree, and it seems that Alexi Giannoulias, the Secretary of State for Illinois, also thinks so.
Either that, or he's just trying to make things easier for us while we do other errands, like grocery shopping.
That's why Giannoulias announced something called "Fast-Lane" kiosks.
