WTVO is reporting that over 1-thousand jobs need to be filled before Thompson Prison opens. The Federal Bureau of Prisons will hold a job fair at the Northwestern Illinois facility from September 16th through the 18th.

Officer Down

An Illinois State Police officer remains in the hospital after a hit-and-run over the weekend. According to Eyewitness news, the trooper was conducting a traffic stop when Leslie Thurow of Mount Prospect struck him. Thurow is already on probation for an aggravated D-U-I conviction.
